KPI 2.21: Development and implementation of solution to assess quality of the physical spaces where research, innovation, and entrepreneurship occur
As a new (FY24) component of the annual budget planning cycle, units are encouraged to self-assess and analyze opportunities for increased/improved utilization in spaces assigned to or for which said unit has primary oversight/management responsibilities. These self-assessments may be further supported by the Office of Space Planning and Management, the Office of the Vice President for Research, and the Office of the Vice President for Instruction. Unit self-assessments anticipated to continue. Finance & Administration is in the process (through FY25) of developing a unit-wide Data Strategy project which is also anticipated to include a more robust mechanism/solution for campus-wide physical space resources.
