Enterprise Role-Based Access Management

 

The Data Management and Governance Committee has defined a “roles” based access mechanism to provision access to institutional data in the Data Warehouse, enterprise systems, and enterprise Listserves.  The Data Warehouse consolidates data from multiple source systems in support of campus wide decision-making. Appropriate Data Custodians have classified the data in the EDW into roles according to security principles identified in the Information Security Controls and Operational Practices statement, like “Access of Least Privilege” and “Separation of Duties.”
